Don't waste your precious mommy time on any other cloth diaper. I've been using disposable diapers for quite a while but Im finally able to stay at home with my little ones. My 3 month olds little bum was starting to get rashy so I figured i'd try and make the switch to cloth diapers like I had been wanting to for awhile. I bought a few different kinds of diapers including the thirsties. I wasnt sold on making the switch until I tried the alvas. All but the alvas I had leaking problems. We've been using them for almost a month and haven't had one leak. The alva diapers are one size so you don't have to buy a bigger size later on. They are also soo much quicker and easier than the other ones because the inserts just slide right in between the inner and outer pocket. Easy and super soft and comfy for her little tush. They are cheaper than the others. Just because they're more expensive doesn't mean they're better. :-)

Ok let me tell you I'm a former army helicopter pilot and new mom and cloth diapering intimidated me so much so much so I waited until the 6 month Mark to try it. Now my little girl is 9 months and we are officially all cloth. So if you're nervous to do it order these. Now for poo....it's not fun or easy at first but I bought the grovia flushable liners and placed them inside the width not length. I take her diaper off fold it up change her then carry the dirty one to the toilet and flush down the poo. Who knows maybe this will help with potty training since I tell her what I'm doing each time. Anyway read all the reviews you can. Expensive ones are prob as only great but I did this to give my baby a soft cottony tushy to be green and to be frugal so these do the job. Also I like my two Kauai baby diapers. I recommend using a waterproof liner and place it inside any hamper with a lid. Buy bio stain out off amazonI get no Poo stains when I use it. Go cloth. Do it. Buy these! If I can anyone can trust me I gag picking up after my dogs. Of course my daughter is my daughter so that's just different altogether but it is worth it to me to have to clean a bit more and know she's wearing nice soft cloth on her bum!

I was leary because we had heard that the Alvas were having some delaminating issues, but we are several months into this CD thing and we have had no issues!
