By careful shopper
This diaper brand is "safer" because it doesn't use bleach but don't be misled that it is free of dangerous chemicals. It still has the little beads inside to wick away the moisture. Cloth diapers are a pain to wash but so worth the effort for our kids' safety. However, I'm practical too, and busy with more than one child, so we use disposables when out or when extra busy.Downside is that size is not marked on the outside of the diaper - gets confusing as you transition sizes or share a diaper with a friend's child, etc. Size only listed on inside of Velcro tab, right at the ripple part.These are more expensive than others so for a time we used Huggies Pure and Natural which has organic cotton inside. Im very displeased, though, to frequently find those beads coming loose even after the diaper has been on only an hour or less. So, we are back to Seventh Generon (when needed instead of Bum Genius which we use at home or for short outings.Beware of price - they often sell 2 packs on Amazon but we had a problem when the vendor's picture and description didn't match the product sent (they only sent 1 pack). Amazon was great to refund us but we are now more careful anytime buying diapers at Amazon. Best to do through Amazon Mom to save on price but now that they changed the discount program it isn't as economical.
