By Melissa
When I was pregnant and researching cloth diapering, I wanted to try all the different kinds out. I bought one or two of nearly everything: different brands of prefolds, all sorts of All-In-Ones, some contours, various fitteds, pocket diapers with snaps, pockets with velcro, etc etc! Once we figured out what worked best, I expanded our stash of Fuzzi Bunz pocket diapers. My son is now almost 6 months old and we use them every day (we use something else at night.) The two rows of snaps make the diaper fit well around the waist and around his legs (and he has some chunky thighs!) He only rarely has any leaks and he doesn't get the ugly red marks on his thighs that some diapers leave. Pocket diapers are great because you can choose your level of absorbency by adding another insert for a heavy wetter or for nighttime. I wash our Fuzzi Bunz with Charlie's soap and machine dry on low and all of ours still look brand new! The colors are also very cute and we constantly get compliments! Overall, Fuzzi Bunz are great quality, easy to use, and adorable. We definitely recommend them to anyone interested in cloth diapering!

By Ashley
I've been using these diapers for about 3 weeks with my new baby boy, and so far I love them! He was only about 7 1/2 pounds when I started using them, and they've done very well. He never seems to be bothered by dirty diapers when wearing these, but before, in the disposables, he'd cry when he had a dirty diaper. They're very absorbent but not too bulky--all of his newborn and 0-3 month clothes fit just fine. They have leaked a couple of times, with urine coming out the side of the top somehow, but that's been very minor. He leaked much more when he was wearing disposables for the first week or two! I bought this pack to try out, and ended up buying 12 more diapers so I wouldn't have to wash as often. The only thing I didn't like was not knowing what colors would be sent. In the end, I liked most of the colors, but I probably wouldn't have picked some of them (like the bright purple). I also wish they included a white in the mix. But that's my only complaint. Overall, I think this is a great product and I will stock up in the medium size when he outgrows these. They're easy to use--the grandparents and other friends have had no problem changing him with these diapers.UPDATED TO ADD: My son is now 6 1/2 months old, and we're still going strong with these diapers. He weighs 16 pounds now and is 26 inches long and we still have one more snap left to go before he'll need the next size. The only difference is that now I double the liners before he goes to bed at night, since I'm not changing him in the middle of the night anymore. They still leak occasionally with urine out the top, but I suspect that has to do with me forgetting to aim him down before I snap the diaper! Most breastfed poops are contained well, although every once in a while if it's a real blowout, some will leak out the legs. We've just started solids, so I don't know what the next poop chapter will be. My son has been in daycare for 2 months now, and it's been really easy to use the diapers there, too. I love these diapers!

I purchased about 5-6 different types of cloth diapers for my son when he was born in 2010 (bumgenius, happy heinys, flips, WAHM, fuzzibunz, kissaluvs) in a mixed diaper lot off of the website cottonswappers. As my son grew the fuzzibunz became our go to diaper. I purchased a lot of new fuzzibunz size small which lasted us from 4months-11months. They were great!! Easy to assemble, lasted with few leaks, and even contained all the mess he could make! Unfortunately, he outgrew them. In anticipation of this, I ordered the onesize diaper to try from the bumgenius website. Again, it was a great product, the terry inserts were quality with a luxurious thickness. When I was willing to commit the money, I decided to order another 6 diapers for my sone to last until he was potty trained. I was SORELY disappointed. Between 2010 and 2011 there was a SERIOUS quality change in the fuzzibunz product. The new version is now called the "Elite". The diapers are almost a half an inch narrower than the old version (okay for mobility, not for leaks) and the inserts are now a thin mink (vs. terry in the old version) that is almost a third as thick. Again the trimness is nice for mobility but for my now 23 month old, they last less than an hour. It such a pain! We put the Elite version at the bottom of the pile and try to use the old ones as much as possible. So sad that a once great product is now less quality.
